Driving in the summer: Drive carefully, in addition to elk, there are a lot of sheep and lambs that are walking along the road across the mountain.

Driving in the winter: Use snow-tires. We recommend that all our guests use either winter tires or studded tires.

The roads are salted from Oslo until Ulsåk, but during periods of heavy snow and cold weather there can be both snow and ice on the road. Adapt your speed to the conditions and remember the danger of elk.
